Description

The Tribute Series represents our finest, single site expressions. Nellie Melba Blanc de Blancs is distinctly varietal, showing very elegant and fine chardonnay characters on the nose - delicate white blossom and stone fruit with oyster shell and fresh brioche. The palate displays a white stone fruit spectrum, fine minerality and toasted almond. A fine bead and fuller weight mid palate flows into a long finishing.


WineMaking Notes

This acclaimed Blanc de Blancs was produced in the traditional bottle fermentation method from our block C, estate grown chardonnay. Following secondary fermentation, the wine was aged on lees in bottle for a period of 40 months. Dosage was kept to a minimum at 6.5g/L to allow the wine to maintain its distinctive fresh, dry style.
