THE WINE

Pinot Noir thrives in the cool climate of the Yarra Valley, making it an ideal variety for Coombe Farm. Our 2014 Pinot Noir is a true reflection of our vineyard's unique site and the vintage conditions. The warm, dry 2014 season allowed for slow, even ripening on our hillside site, resulting in exceptional fruit.

Hand-harvested in five small batches, the fruit was fermented separately in small open pots, with approximately 10% whole bunches in the final blend. The wine was then matured in French oak for nearly twelve months, developing its rich complexity.

The 2014 Coombe Farm Pinot Noir reveals elegant red berry notes, hints of spice, and savoury undertones. Its velvety texture is complemented by firm, round tannins and a long, enduring finish.
